Medical Laboratory Assistant 4 hour shifts

MLA jobs are extremely competitive but I have been invited to an interview which says that I am required to work only 4 hours a week and it says (9 X 4 hour shifts). What does this mean ? Is it only 4 hours for 9 weeks and then after that the contract is over? This was the only job that gave me an interview since the ones with more hours would most likely have increased competition. Since I don't have any lab experience I feel like this would be a good opportunity to get my foot in the door in an NHS lab since I really want to use my biomedical science degree and eventually work on my ibms portfolio. Do you think it's a good idea to take this job if I get it or look for another opportunity?
