Need some help understanding

Hi. First time using this so here’s hoping to the best.

Currently doing highers in s5.
- Chemistry
- English
- French
- Computer Science

I’m wanting to do Dentistry when I leave school and can’t do maths at the moment because I didn’t get the result I needed. I got a D when i was given a prediction of a B grade. I would like to know if anyone else has faced this kind of issue where the school doesn’t allow you to take part in the class and instead places you in another subject.
This has happened to me and as a result I am stuck with subjects that I can’t really do anything I want to with.
Also I would really appreciate some advice regarding crash hires. I’ve been thinking crashing higher maths and higher biology in S6 might be an option but for dentistry you need an advanced higher of chem/bio. is there
no other option than to do AH chemistry rather than biology. I’m doing N5 biology at college on the side to get some background knowledge instead of being launched into a higher.
