If failed in a resit what will happen next? Condoned fail or repeat?

Hi there, I am a msc student enrolled in Sept 2021, visa expiring on 10th Jan, failed in a component, got a resit(maybe last chance) in Nov 2022, I am a bit worried about my result, if i fail in this resit what will get, a condoned fail or repeat that component again?
