International student applying for Architecture degree in UK

Anyone has applied for architecture degree in UK for September entry? I've applied for Cardiff, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield through UCAS. Some of them requested artwork portfolio so I'm currently in the progress of creating some arts. Do you know if they accepted digital art since I'm a little bit confused with the brief given.

Ps: Also does your university has any Muslim/hijabi studying there? Would love to know your opinion since I'm scared if I'll have a problem finding friends there

A lot of this year's applicants are chatting on this thread:

For your portfolio, it is best to try and show a range of skills. A digital piece or two would be fine, but include others such as observational drawings, paintings, textiles, sculpture, photography, etc. There is some good advice on developing a portfolio on the following thread:

Also, if you search 'manchester uni architecture portfolio blogspot', you can see examples of portfolios from former applicants.
