Digital Technology Solutions Degree

Good morning,

For anyone who has / is undertaking this degree, how have people found it?

What has your experience of the modules been so far and what specialisation did you choose and how is it?

I'm likely to do this programme with QA (I know...), so any insider tips on how it's been doing it with QA would be great too.
I'm no help unfortunately, I am also about to complete this degree, with QA too

Not doing myself, but know people that are doing it and helped them prepare for AC's etc. From what I have been told, depending on the employer you are doing your apprenticeship with, they partner with a university but some employers outsource the study element to training provider (such as QA in your case) who I believe are partnered with Roehampton university only for the purpose of awarding the degree, the teaching is all done by QA.

Depending on the university you are doing the studies with, the way in which you are assessed can vary. Some universities still like to have the traditional assessment approach of exams, coursework and assignments but orders integrate assessment with the stuff you actually do in the workplace but like I say it varies depending on the training provider.
Yeah I heard this too! I've been told mine is more work based and shouldn't need to do any/much work outside of the working days.

Yes, it's like an 80/20 split usually been work and study although the study element can be demanding as you are balancing it with your work duties, depending on the university you either get block release or day release.

Just about effectively managing your workload and having good communication with your workplace manager keeping them up to date with what you are covering at university.
