To become a pharmacist in the UK, you need an MPharm degree approved by the General Pharmaceutical Council. See:
https://nationalcareers.service.gov.uk/job-profiles/pharmacist
https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/education/approved-providers-education-and-training
https://www.careerpilot.org.uk/job-sectors/medical/job-profile/pharmacist

For the list of suitable degrees, see: https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/education/approved-providers-education-and-training/accredited-mpharm-degrees

From what I can tell, you generally would need A Levels or IB. BTECs are not always accepted, presumably because it's an academic course and you need high grades. Even where it's accepted, it needs to have biology content (which applied science has), but you still need A Level Chemistry on top. My preference is to do straight A Levels with Biology and Chemistry in yoru arsenal (at least have Chemistry).

The following universities don't accept BTECs:

The following do:

Yes btec applied science is sufficient. If you check my posts I have an offer to study Medical science at UCL and I also have an offer to study pharmacy without a foundation year at Medway.
