gcse and doctoring

i am currently in college and want to be a gynecologist but my gcse grades are very low and i failed my science ones. im doing a course in a subject that is not related to gynecology at all and want to change subjects. is it possible to do gynecology? also if i retake my science gcses can i do the a levels for it in college ???
Gynaecology is a specialist of medicine, in order to get there you need to do a medicine degree then a further 7 years of speciality training. That’s 12 years total at a minimum. There are other ways into medicine other than a levels but a levels would probably be the most straight forward route if you can get the GCSEs for it.
Other routes in gynaecology include gynaecology nursing but you would not be a ‘gynaecologist’ as that’s a consultant level position in medicine.

Heya!
I would recommend looking at prospects and look how to get into it. If you need to do medicine then look up entry requirements using this medical comparison tool.

I hope this helps!
