How can I prepare for my Speech Therapy Masters?

Starting a Speech Therapy Masters at QMU in September and I'm trying to get an idea of the timetable so I know how intense it is. It seems to be very intense (which I was ready for after a Teaching degree..!) So I want to do everything I can to get myself up to speed in advance. What should I do with my time now that can help me out in September?
Any books I should read? Difficult concepts I can start getting my head around now?
Thanks!! x

Hey @VoodooHannah!

Speech Therapy sounds like such a fascinating Masters - I bet you're dead excited to get started! Whilst I'm definitely not a specialist in the subject area (and am not from QMU, as you'll quite easily see ) I'd definitely reach out to the university themselves, as more often than not they'll be happy to either get you in contact with academics who teach on the programme or they might have opportunities to speak with current students. I know we're happy to do this as a University, so its likely others will be too!

After having a quick look on their website they look like they have a dead handy list of staff on the bottom of the course page - definitely recommend checking that out!

Hope that helps, best of luck for starting your Masters later this year!
All the best,
Becky
