Hello everyone!

I'll be going on exchange to the University of Bristol for one semester [September-January]. This means I don't get guaranteed university accommodation and since they will let me know if I got a university-allocated room only in August, I figured I should instead start looking for private accommodation.

Any tips for finding affordable student housing for exchange students? I'd love to be near downtown/campus and would prefer a sociable house to share with other students. But of course I'm open to anything. I would of course only rent it for 4 months.
