How do you know if you’re with the right person?

How do you ever know if you’re with the right person? I question this quite often and frequently overthink whether or not I have made the right decisions.

You are their priority, and they value your time. This doesn't mean that you own them nor they are your beck-and-call. Here's a list to make things easy:

1. In terms of priority, you're second to their family.
2. You feel valued
3. They care and show compassion
4. You'll have arguments that are in your best interest - e.g. something you do that they don't like because they know the consequences (simplified)
5. Dating to marry - if that isn't the case, then sorry. Doesn't matter how they treat you, heartbreak will happen to one of you.

The most important points are listed below:
1. Similar beliefs
2. respects their parents and siblings
3. their friend group - what are their personalities?
4. their goals
5. their behaviour and mannerisms

Idk, I think an interesting question to ask yourself is would you be proud to have a child just like them. If you make each other happy and you share similar values then that is a pretty good sign
