EPQ grade D

My EPQ was internally marked and I got a D. I heard most universities ignore your EPQ and it's only taken into account if you get a good grade, is this true or will it negatively affect my application?

Some universities will give you conditional offers in which they will drop one of the grades by 1 if your EPQ meets a specific grade. This is generally like a B or A.

Ultimately, it is not the end of the world if you do not get the EPQ grade you wanted because the main offers universities show are generally completely independent from the EPQ.

Also, it could still be externally moderated and it is good to show that you at least passed it on UCAS.
