GCSE maths Edexcel

I have been revising for maths GCSE Edexcel but every time I do a past paper I don’t get the answer correct then tho I have covered it. Like sometimes I will forget important point that will help me to answer the question. It’s hard to explain but I feel like in revising for no reason. Does anyone else have this.
hey i usually get 9s in math for tests and mocks so id be happy to help u out. revising for math is always helpful cuz ur getting exposed to diff types of qs. yea u didnt get it rn but you'll be able to do it if a similar q comes for ur boards. i think u should first do the end of unit qs for ever chap and then make sure u can understand all of them. before a test, i really like reading the summary pages for each unit too so you'll find it easier to remember points. if uve noticed ur weak at a specific topic, u should do more qs on with by using sites like physicsandmathtutor and corbett maths or even mathsgenie. they will help get ur core concepts cleared.

if u have any other doubts u can feel free to ask me. good lucks for ur gcses!

My current grade is a very low 4 and I want a 6 to do A levels how long should it take to get that 6? I know it depends on many factors but I can revise for at least 6 hrs a day. my exam start in 2 weeks so I want the best grade.

I'd look at passports 3 and 4 on
https://www.missbsresources.com/teaching-and-learning/mathspassports

Then MathsMadeEasy is helpful: https://mmerevise.co.uk/gcse-maths-revision/edexcel/

Dr Frost is structured: https://www.drfrostmaths.com/courses.php?coid=13

Focus on areas where you are getting some marks [rather than the topics you really struggle with] for rapid improvement.

im not too sure abt how long it would take but realistically speaking, its relatively easy to go from a 4-5 or even a 6. its harder when u need to go from a 7-8 or 8-9. what ive noticed in ppl who dont perform as well in math is that their base concepts arent clear. so try to build a strong foundation when it comes to topics like algebra, circle theorms/shapes and probability stuff cuz they r frequently asked. u can use the vids and links ive shared cuz they can help with that. u need to be sure can get the easy qs right so u can pass easily
