How to improve my coursework in art gcse?

would like some tips please and thank you :smile:

also how to lay it out simple but impressing ig?
my examboard is edexcel and compared to other classmates im behind
i also do some work during lunch

I do AQA but here are some quick tips:
Use your own photos for some pieces (doesn’t have to be all, around 60% is ok).
Record some initial ideas like basic sketches.
For layout, a simple watercolour background will do just fine (literally just dribble water over it).

You could also try cutting out some card, stick photos onto it and then tie it to your book.

Photos on black card is also a nice way of making your book look prettier.

So just literally draw a quick sketch of a photo.

First print out a photo of something.
Then stick it on a blank page.
Start drawing the photo (make sure to add some of your own ideas like the style or some objects like flowers)
I would suggest spending around 5-10 minutes on a sketch.

This just shows how you can develop your own ideas. It’ll definitely get you some more marks.
