Student finance 23/24 application corrupted?

When I attempt to resume my student finance application for 23/24 I get:

"Sorry, something has gone wrong
An unknown error has caused the application to stop working.
Try and log into your account later and resume your application.
If you continue to see this message, contact Student Finance England."

I have been seeing this error for several weeks now.
I cannot restart the application without calling them and getting them to manually remove the existing one.
Is anyone else experiencing this/know a solution?

Hi there, this is a known error to the team and they are working to resolve this issue. If you are unable to submit your application online you would need to complete the paper application form and return this via post for the team to review. Are you suggesting that they will tell me to fill out the written form even if I call them?
Or is it possible that they could restart my online application?
