can you defer your uni place on results day and do u have to give reason-i accepted my offer but not that keen anymore on going this year-is there an option to defer now?

hi, i'm not sure if this is helpful but if you email your university's exams office and ask if it would be possible to defer a year, they should be able to do it asap! i did the same thing last year and got my placed deferred.

Yes you can ask to defer now.
Just email the Unis and ask.

This is a better option than waiting until August as then Unis are trying to finalise numbers for courses and they may say no.

As others have said it's best to contact your university as soon as possible to get this arranged as if you try in August it will take a lot longer to get sorted and then you also have the peace of mind knowing that as long as you have the grades you have the place next year.
