I was wondering about grade boundaries for edexcel maths, since I can see there was a sizeable difference in boundaries comparing 2018 to 2019. Does anyone know why? And will 2023's boundaries be closer to 2018 or 2019?

In 2018 the new spec had only been out a year and most people sitting were doing double Maths ie a bright cohort.
The 2019 paper was the first sitting for the two year course and the difficulty surprised some students.
Nobody know what the grade boundaries will be because they mark all the papers before setting them! I'm expecting the proportion of A* to be similar to 2019.
