Near miss my conditions

Say I apply for fine arts in University of Edinburgh as an IB student. The uni requires 34 HL655 and I got 34 HL664. The failed subject is biology. I called the admission office once I got my result, they told me that there will be two ppl viewing the grades from today and I might hear the result by next Tuesday. I know that no one knows what will turn out, so I just want to know if I have to wait until the a level result day to get the final decision, and is it likely to get in with this score. So worried because I messed up the insurance either.

Clearing and Applications Advisor

It’s up to Edinburgh whether they’ll be able to make a decision before results day. As a Scottish university they’re likely to be able to make decisions on most borderline cases on SQA results day rather than waiting for A levels.

Have you looked into other courses available in clearing for Fine Art - there’s some good options out there especially at specialist art universities.
