Fully funded places option

Did you know that there is the option to enrol on a fully funded place for Nursing students in Wales?

The NHS are offering an NHS Bursary Scheme where eligible students can receive funding for their Nursing degree. Something to note is that you would need to commit to working in Wales for 2 years following the completion of your course in order to receive this funding.

As long as you register and apply within 10 weeks of the start of your course then you would be considered for this bursary. You don’t have to live in Wales to be eligible for this either. If you live in England, then you could apply via the NHS Wales website and not the England NHS funding.

If you’re an EU student, then the requirements are that you must have obtained either settled or pre-settled status in the UK through the EU Settlement Scheme in order to be eligible for funding through the NHS Bursary Scheme.
