Got rejected from primark

For context I’m just about to go into my second year and have been struggling to get a part time job on top of my studies and I have two good friends who work at primark. They both told me to apply and I had the interview two weeks ago and I thought it went well plus I mentioned my friends names. However the other day I got the rejection email and felt really humbled as my friends said that they accept pretty much anyone. Does anyone have any advice when it comes to getting jobs??

Hey, I can't give job hunting advice, but I would just like to say not to feel too bad about the Primark rejection. Loads of people apply to Primark so I really doubt it has much to do with you as a person or candidate but rather that they had a lot of applications and only one/a few vacancies.
