Overlooking the lakes at the heart of our Colchester Campus is the Albert Sloman Library. Use our paternoster lift to reach six floors of research resources, specialist materials, and of course a whole lot of books. It's the perfect environment for quiet reading or that last-minute essay. The library is open 24/7 during term time and has a wide range of learning resources; books, journals, British and foreign-newspapers, microfilms and audio-visual materials - most of course materials are online as well so you can access this from home just as well. 📕📚📑
As Britain's oldest recorded development, the city of Colchester is steeped in over two thousand years of history after being founded by the Ancient Romans, and it's also where our main university campus is located. A little further north of the county you'll find the village Tiptree, so famous for producing jam, The Queen marked their 125th celebration with a visit by Her Majesty🍓🍒.
