anyone join any societies in swansea? could you tell me your experience in one?

Yes, any student can join student societies in Swansea. We have such a wide range that I have no doubt you will find something to suit your interests. I personally was in the rowing club for the first few years of my undergraduate degree and absolutely loved it. Having rowed for ages pre-uni, it was great to be able to carry this on at university. However, loads of friends of mine have joined socieities that are completely new to them and whether this is a new sport or a new skill, they have loved them! For example, they joined Anime and Manga, the Cheese and Wine Society and Chess Society to name a few. University is such an exciting place to be able to try new things and I'd definitely recommend doing so.
