Deposit for student housing
I’m applying for student finance and I guess I need to pay deposit from my pocket… Will student finance pay it back?
Accommodation deposits come out of your own pocket, however, they are usually subtracted from the rent anyway.

If you receive a maintenance loan, you will receive three payments across the academic year. It's up to you what you spend it on - accommodation, food, travel, entertainment, etc.
