Missed Tuition Fees Application Deadline - Need Advice on What to Do Next

Hello,

I hope you're all doing well. I'm in a bit of a predicament, and I was hoping to get some advice or hear from anyone who might have faced a similar situation.

So here's the deal: I completely forgot to apply for my tuition fees for my final year of university, and now, a year after graduating, I've received a notice asking me to pay those fees. I immediately contacted the Student Financial England (SFE), but they rejected my application because I missed the deadline.

I'm feeling pretty lost right now, and I'm not sure what my options are. Has anyone here experienced something similar or have any advice on what I should do next? Any guidance on appealing the rejection or finding alternative solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you didn’t apply for a loan by 31 May of the year that you studied then there’s no option to appeal to SFE.

You need to talk to your university (and read their fee payment policy) and work out an affordable repayment plan.
