College stress

I'm in my second week of my second year at sixth form, and I'm so stressed it's making me nauseous. Does anyone have advice on how I can help myself?

I’m in a similar position, so here’s some tips on how I destress
- I find it really important that when I’m switched off from work I properly switch off, often this means trying to do as much work while I’m in sixth form as possible, so I have less at home. I also never work after 9pm, because sleep is so important, and your brain can’t focus without it. When I’m not working I find it’s best to just zone out, watch tv, go o my phone or whatever.
- talk to people. it sounds so cliche but it does work, it’s so useful to hear other people are feeling how you are, and it can relive pressure as you know it’s not your fault it’s just natrual. whether it’s people in your class, friends, family or school support staff or literally just to yourself in the mirror it’ll help you think through what’s going on and how it doesn’t actually matter that much
- planning stuff out is also really helpful. I’m a massive organiser so being able fo plan when I’ll do stuff and what I’ll do helps me break down big, intimidating tasks so they’re less stressful. during my GCSEs i found it useful to use a revision timetable so I knew id get everything done by exams, and it meant massive tasks seem more approachable
