Will attending a middle ranked university curtail my opportunities?
I got into genetics BSc at Sussex via clearing.
My boyfriend said he thought that I may miss out on opportunities if I attend a middle rank uni.
Is he right? Any thoughts?
(Level three qualification- Access to HE, primarily bio and chem modules. 39 distinctions, 6 merits)

It is dependent on you to make the most of it.

Get a first to give you the best possible future prospects
Very unlikely to have much/any impact for careers in that subject area.
