STI test: how soon would a positive gonorrhoea result show?

I’ve had an STI test 10 days post potential exposure and come back negative however I’m concerned that certain sources say the window/incubation period is 14 days, do you think testing at 10 days would’ve made a major difference and could’ve given me a false negative? Thanks.

I would advise you take another test for peace of mind. You should normally take a test 14 days after your exposure risk to be certain you did not catch Chlamydia or Gonorrhoea, 28 days for Syphillis or HIV.
