Am I weird for remembering dead people?

Like I know someone who died 5 years ago and even though I didn't like her because she bullied me, sometimes she does cross my mind. I try not to think about her too much and sometimes I watch TV shows that came out when we were 1/2 and I remember that she was alive then. I don't miss her or anything, in fact I hated her and she hated me.

There's nothing unusual about this at all. We are all the result of our lived experiences, and negative experiences can very often be more prominent than positives ones. It's also natural for us to reflect on and hold onto aspects of our past, again whether those are good or bad things. Even though you don't feel that you have lost this person because you did not like her, she is an aspect of your past that anchors you to past times because she isn't alive anymore. So I don't think there's anything noteworthy about her crossing your mind on occasion at all.
