Some females don't want to date or get closely involved with guys who are teetotallers.
Other's do.

Not all of them are like that. My ex for example appreciated the fact that I wasn't a big drinker.

Sometimes its a dealbreaker for the people who drink to get drunk a few times a month or always drink a lot of alcohol when they go on holiday to partying places with lots of sun sea and low price booze.
They often see teetotallers as killjoys that suck all the fun out of life or sobriety obsessed religious preachers that should be avoided at all costs.
