law students

i’m applying for september 2024 at university and hopefully become a criminal solicitor in future. so i was wondering if it’s better to do law with criminology or just law as a course, ive heard doing just law if very difficult and im willing to put the work in ive just been very discouraged about how many people dislike doing law. and ive always loved criminology but heard its hard to get a job with that degree after uni so would law with criminology still be a law degree?
