How important is mentioning/practising hand dexterity for interviews+uni?

Does this make a huge difference? I know MMIs can measure dexterity but does that need practise? if so then how do I improve?

Manual dexterity is an important skill for dentistry and dental schools commonly look on that quite favourably if not outright require it (though you'll want to ask specific dental schools if they have requirements).

Anything that requires controlled, precise hand movement will improve manual dexterity. Common examples are sewing, some musical instruments, painting etc and there are LOADS more besides. If you don't already have a hobby that requires manual dexterity, best and most sustainable thing would be to pick an activity similar to the above that seems fun and get right into it. If you can show evidence of it then even better!
