Around what time should you expect calls regarding job applications?

Is this for after applying?
It really does depend on the company/employer. Sometimes I've heard back within a week, sometimes it's been a few weeks. And sometimes I've never heard back at all!

I would generally expect to hear something back within 1-2 weeks, but like I say this is so dependent on the employer. Try not to get hung up on it if you don't hear anything back straight away, and keep applying to others in the meantime just in case.
