Which quotes do I learn

For my set texts Macbeth, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde + An Inspector Calls, how do i know which quotes to learn/how many? Do I learn quotes for all the characters and themes? Where do I find what themes?

Hi, I'd aim for about 3 quotes per theme/character. To decide which one (character or theme) consider which one would give you the most variety of quotes. Check out Physics and Maths tutor for some detailed theme and character notes. To make notes make sure to include a bunch of analysis not just quotes written.

Use pmt or a revision guide to sort quotes into certain characters + themes. I would make a mindmap of the quotes and analysis around the theme/character and then you can select 2-3 specific quotes to memorise which have good relevant analysis
