Bristol Biochemistry

I've heard Bristol are meant to give out offers fairly quickly (I applied a month ago) but my application has been put on hold - does this mean much?

Most applications are put on hold. Hold means they have assessed your application and you meet the criteria for an offer however they need to assess more applications to get a feel for where you rank and whether they can offer you a place or not. Only if they 100% know you are going to rank near the top do they offer immediately but the vast vast majority of students for Bristol (particularly for more competitive courses) will go on hold. It has no indication whether you will get an offer or rejection x

I applied early to Biochem, was put on hold for about a month and a half before being offered a place, so I wouldn't be worried about if you haven't recieved anything yet. From what I've heard, Bristol can be notorious for leaving offers to the last minute.
