online MSc Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing

What is your experience of this?
Hi
I graduated from this course this year and its fantastic!
Its approved by the British Psychological Society ( BPS) which lots of other courses aren't
Its a really comprehensive MSc covering 10 modules:

Clinical and counselling psychology

Mental health online

Social psychology

Developmental psychology

Psychology of learning

Personality and individual differences

Psychology of social interaction

Cyberpsychology

Psychology of everyday life

Research methods and statistics

and then a 16 week dissertation.

Each module is 8 weeks long and is supported by a really easy to navigate virtual learning environment with lots of resources, discussion forums and micro lectures. Each virtual classroom also has an Online Facilitator to answer questions about module content.
Its fast paced and there is also an online course cafe where you can interact with other students.
The dissertation enables you to conduct your own piece of independent research supported by a supervisor. Either qualitative or quantitative you come up with your research question and drive your own project, collecting and analysing data and producing a piece of independent research.
Each module through the course concludes with a summative assignment, but they also have formative assignments half way through so that you can get feedback.

I learnt so much over the 2 years, and as a result have begun my PhD journey with the University!
I also work as a specialist Dissertation Online Facilitator supporting our dissertation cohorts with module content. The fact that I have done the course that they are doing really helps.

I hope that this helps you to make the decision to apply!
