I didn't make it through unfortunately, but have been offered a place at LSE. So just thinking over my options at the moment.

I think it is my grades that did me in - although they were technically first class, they were definitely on the lower end.
Just randomly stumbled upon this thread. I studied both at the OII and the LSE. Go for LSE 100%. If you want the Oxford exp, come back for DPhil later at another dept ideally.

Are you open for a private chat? I would love to learn more about your experience at OII.

I’d love to know more about your experience too!!
Well, go ahead and post your questions here, and I'll try to answer them. Nothing too specific about my background though as I'd rather not disclose my identity.

What were some of the positives and negatives of the OII, and why did you find LSE a better fit in the long run?

hey thanks! if you did - i potentially have the option to attend MSc Regulation there as well. Should I opt for that over an MPP, as it offers more tech-related specialisation?
Hi all! Have any part-time applicants received interview requests? I read on forums from previous years that part-time applicants are sometimes interviewed.

Hey, I'm a part time applicant who hasn't received an interview, currently waiting! Wbu!
Same, I haven't heard anything and my anxiety is through the roof ☹️ Did you apply for the January deadline? (For some reason it won't let me respond directly to your post)

Yes I did, I'm having some trouble with sending a message as well. Do you have social media? Would be good to keep up to date with someone in the same position as me, can't find anyone! And same here - anxious 😭

Hi you both! I’m in the same position, applied in January for part time and haven’t heard anything.

Same here: January PT application and no news. Indeed there was a mention of interviews for PT applications before but I can't seem to find it anymore for this year.
Applied with a January FT application and no news here either, crossing my fingers for some word soon!
Can someone email OII to ask when results are due? My email isn't going through

Hey where can we communicate so we can keep eachother informed?
What about this forum? Personally not super comfortable with sharing personal details with strangers on the internet, which is a sentiment that I’d suspect is decently common for people in this field

I agree, especially in such a relatively small field, it's important to get to know each other and stay connected! I'm very open to starting a Discord / Whatsapp / Signal or any such group, if other people are interested! 😃
