IS mun important for university?

IS mun important for university?

So, I currently do not live in the UK but i am planning on going there for university and study med. i've looked into a few universities specifically in london (open for suggestions) and none of them are clear on if i need MUN or not or if it will help. I've asked my school but they of course will encourage you to join and yell at you to put around £160 into their pocket lolz. Part of the reason i don't want to attend it, is because im already under a lot of stress, it doesn't interest me, too much competiton, and finally i will not be sitting in a silly little chair in a big ass hotel just to hear you talk about something i do not care about and will not put effort into for hours on end. Of course if it's important and will help me greatly im willingly to deal with it and put up with the most egotistical self centered humans i will ever interact with.
