How do men and women maintain a platonic relationship without intimate behaviour?

Is it common for men and women to have intimate bodily contact with each another?
That's 2 significantly different questions. But lots of people simply aren't attracted to each other and/or don't feel a need to seek intimacy for the sake of it.
One of them needs to not be attracted to the other. If both are attracted, then yes very hard. If only one is, then nothing intimate or romantic will become of it.

Absolutely. With any relationships, open and honest conversation should apply.
