Do you do essays a lot like which unis do coursework more and less essays
Hi there
At my University, our modules are examined by a combination of coursework and exams. Both of these are essay questions. For the coursework, you are asked to research and write an essay based of the question, usually you are given few weeks to complete this. For exams, these will be seated in an exam hall under timed conditions, it will involve completing 2 or 3 essay question.
For a law degree there is definitely a lot of writing involved, however, this does depend on the University you go to and what year you are in. Last year, I had more than 10 coursework essays and 8 exam essays to complete, this year however, I have 5 coursework essays and 9 exam essays to complete. (I am a third year law student).
I hope this answers your question. Chloe University of Kent Student Rep
