I'm worried about my essay for PCET/PGCE, I've noticed t done essays academically before so I'm worried it won't be good enough, I'm hoping that I will be better as tone goes on

I will be starting my PGCE in September.

I wouldn't worry too much as the tutors will support you along the way. They will provide you will all the information you need to successfully pass your assignments. There will be others in the same situation as you, your tutors won't expect you to already know how to write a piece of academic writing unless you have just come from university, and there will be time carved into your training day specifically around essay support. Even those who have just completed their degree will need a refresher.
