Is Brunel a good choice to learn game design?

Hi! I am considering of its master programme in game design. Does Brunel has some advantages in any aspects?
Hi @BigBrowser

Great to hear that you're look to study our masters programme in game design.

Our game design masters is highly regarded by design studios and you will be taught by professionals who have worked or are currently working in game production.

Brunel has close links with the gaming industry meaning you will be able to meet key figures in the industry and get the opportunity to pitch your own ideas directly.

Being a London-based uni there are so many opportunities to showcase your work by networking and taking part in game jams and competitions. You’ll get experience in applying, pitching and working within deadlines - giving you an insight into, and experience of, the games industry.

At Brunel, the rights to your work are yours. You own all the work you create. Any game you make, any prototype you build, any art you do, it all belongs to you. At the end of the course you will have a portfolio including a completed game which gives you that edge when applying for jobs in the competitive field!

Hope this helps, if you have any more questions about the course or life at Brunel just let me know!
