Conditional Offer w/ Extrenuating Circumstances

I received an offer for medicine recently but the entry requirements are unsurprisingly high. I have extrenuating circumstances where I missed a month of school last December/January, would it be worth emailing the universitiy to let them know? Is there any chance my offer grade requirements could be reduced or any leniency if I missed a grade by a few marks on results day?

First part - no. Second part - maybe, and worth telling them on the off chance.
Depends what the extenuating circumstances are.
