It depends what degree you have. Some uni's allow you to do a medical degree when you don't have an appropriate science type degree. Graduate entry medicine course takes 4 years to complete. After that, you get a MBBS or MBChB, depends on the university or medical school you go to. You will need to get a degree with a 2:1 classification or equivalent (60 or 70% and above). Nevertheless, some universities have graduate entry to medical schools or universities require you to have a science type degree for entry to graduate entry medicine course.

I'm not sure if getting a UK degree would be easier, as degrees from different countries are kind of similar in content.

You could do a course search on ucas and see any medince courses with graduate entry. Make sure you look for courses with "graduate entry" or some wording similar to that. http://search.ucas.co.uk/cgi-bin/hsrun/search/search/StateId/C5QyMoZ1Cf7mnlRacJuH2uTxVbiom-VcIo/HAHTpage/search.HsKeywordSuggestion.whereNext?query=427&word=MEDICINE&single=Y

If that website is expired, go to this site: http://www.ucas.com/search/index05.html Then click on subject search, click on the letter "m", and hten click on "medicine as a single subject".

You will need to apply through UCAS and the deadline is Oct 15th (assumingly that you will apply in sept 2005). In addition, you need to book a date to take the GAMSAT test if the medical school or university wants this as part of their admissions requirement.

Hope this helps.
