why do you have to tell them that? keep it to your self and quit at end of summer

I wouldn't tell them...you'll just have to give them 3 weeks notice or whatever they ask for in advance towards the end of the summer

But on my application I can't lie and say I'm not at university! and my last employer was in Glasgow, leading to that question, "Why were you in Glasgow?"

you dont have to say your at university, its a summer part time job they wont care less if your doing a degree, and you were in glasgow because you lived there for a while?
I spent about an hour and a half looking for a job this summer, and was offered two.

It's not impossible. You really should have started a lot sooner though... I'd put your chances at 25%.

Who wants to hire a student whos leaving again??! AGH.

Easy, anywhere that gets more business in the summer. This is mostly relevant if you live somewhere that gets tourists.
