Basically I'm going to cinemas with several friends to watch bruno tomorrow and some of my mates are not 18 yet and don't even look it! How do you propose I get them into the movie theatre?

Easy. Ask a parent of one of your friends to buy some tickets, and then you can show the tickets and you get in. That's my plan anyway.

Fake ID. EZPZ.
At my local cinema there's no one near the screen doors, just a guy at the start of the corridor. Just buy tickets to a PG, walk past the guy who checks your tickets, and then walk into the 18. lol

Not really a problem I have, being 36 and all, lol. But pre book the tickets online, no one will check your tickets when you get to the cinema....you can just walk in.

But why is Bruno an 18+ movie anyway....is it just because you get to see a willy?.. Surely a 15 certificate would be ok?.
run and jump over the ticket person

wen we went 2 c the omen aaages ago we jus asked questions about it first, we all look fairly old tbf, but wen we asked for a ticket she wasnt thinking about age as we'd overwhelmed her with loadsa questions. n it worked. and the ppl who check the tickets presume uve been asked for id etc

don't look like ur doing anything wrong, plus just get one 18 year old to buy the tickets and tell them not to shave for a few days! then walk in!

whats with all the dont shave responses? you're much more likely to see an 18 clean shaven that with a but of bumfluff on their lip
Hope they don't check? Unfortunately for us they check when you're going in to sit down so...
Pay with your card on the machines, or just go see the 15 one

a bunch of us went to go and see bruno the other day and everyone except for my boyfriend were 18. they asked us all for id, but my boyfriend just said sorry he didnt have it on him (why would anyone take id to the cinema with them anyway?) and they let him in anyway. failing that, you could always wait till the 15 version comes out- i think its this friday

good luck!

That's stupid, its pretty common sense that anyone who is over 18 who looks under 25 and wants to do age restricted stuff will have ID on them everywhere. People don't have ID for a reason, they're not old enough (or they're illegal).

Cause it counts as porn or something stupid like that.

But seriously, like others have said, only one of you has to buy the tickets. Once you have them nobody's going to ID again. Just get someone who is 18 to get the tickets while everyone else gets the snacks, simples :yep:

Not sure if this has been said already but its always a good thing if you have 4 of you, 2 over 18.
Get the 2 18's with ID to go in and pay for 2 tickets each, as my birthday is in november (despite going to a couple of gigs and being accidently given the over 18 stamp cant do it at cinemas who ID you if you look under 25) *shakes fist* I've been the "girlfriend stuck in traffic" for a couple of 18 films, you then pass the tickets out outside, go in and since i dont look 12 you get away with it fine, just dont look like your about to cry when your tickets checked, start a conversation with the cinema staff, usually their pretty awesome as half of them are students anyway so wouldn't care even if theri noticed.
As for buying tickets for other films don't, cinema's catch on to this and end up posting individual people to check tickets on the doors, aswell as coming in from time to time with night viewing aids to count up seat and ticket numbers and so they can spot the 5 year olds sitting in the middle row :P

As some others have suggested, just wait until it's released as a 15 next week.

i would walk in as im 18

I know at our local cinema they have to I.D everyone for this film, so getting an over 18 mate to buy all the tickets wouldn't work.

Just buy the tickets for a film at the same/similar time, and sneak in. Simples.
Most cinemas don't care if you're really 18 or not. I'm not, I've seen Bruno twice now and haven't had any problems.
