Clearing & results day

Ucas Clearing is a way to find unfilled places at UK universities for the coming academic year. You can use Clearing if:

  • you don’t currently hold any offers from universities
  • you didn’t get the grades to meet your existing offers
  • you’ve changed your mind about where you want to study
  • you want to apply directly to university after 30 June

Find out everything you need to know with our guide to Clearing and our Clearing FAQs.

Finding a place in Clearing

On The Student Room's forums, you'll find lots of help and information about places available in Clearing. Many universities with Clearing spaces will have 'official reps' on our forums who you can talk to.
