Dinner Party

Hey Guys!

So i'm going to this dinner party in june/july, and its one of these fancy ones, little black dresses, gold earrings and makeup and wine and ect

Now i'm normally really comfy with this sort of things but its usually just girls and i have been invited to a mix group one. My point is, (#bringoutthecliche) there is a boy who i kinda like who is going. Annnnddddd he's been in all my classes the last three years but is only recently (the last few weeks) we've spoken in class. We have the same music taste and i like him, but feel as though (even though i'm invited) i'm not popular enough for him? Also how do you even indicate you like someone? I was just going to dress hella nice (any suggestions would be hugely appreciated) and try and look good and hopefull he would notice me?
