My friend is vegan and she thought it would be funny to send me a long text on her way home to Brussels, telling me why my sudden dislike for 'meat' baffles her. You can guess where this went... :colonhash:

:console: I hope you're okay! :yep:

I'm hopefully going to be going to McGill University in Montreal

I'm okay haha. Just teaches me a lesson for giving piggybacks while mildly drunk :giggle:

Wow that's cool! I've always wanted to visit Canada!

From what I can remember you're a bit of a history nut haha, so I'm assuming that's what you'll be doing. How long's the course and do you have any idea what you'll do when you finish?

I am :colondollar:

I believe the course is about 3-4 years (it depends on various prerequisites) and I'd like to go straight into my masters after and then become a journalist for a history magazine or a researcher. We shall see what opens up as I progress, not to mention what appeals at the time.

She's a lesbian so I just replied with a list of all of the stereotypes she fits:

Feminist, book-lover, lesbian who's a vegan and loves cats. She was unimpressed :colone: :colone: :colone: :colone: :colone: :colone:

Oh wow, that's similar to what I'll be doing in terms of course length and such.

Sounds like it'll be really fulfilling work! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. What period of history do you reckon you'll specialise in if any?

And good luck for results day! Though I'm sure you'll be fine! :hugs:
