About the title of MSc, Master of Science

Hello, I'm just curious about why the titles of some master courses of humanity subjects, e.g., History and Art History..etc, offered by Edinburgh, are designated as MSc, Master of Science, but not Master of Arts?Thank you!

So that is a practice of UK universities/ Scotland universities/ Edinburgh University only? I'm a foreigner and not very familiar with UK's education system..thanks!
