They were the two I was most worried about but they somehow went quite well, I got 96 UMS in FP1 because I misread the last 3 marker, and 95 UMS in M2 because I forgot to half one of the lengths in part b of the centre of mass question. Overall really happy though

What are you applying for and where?

All the predictions were those ALPS ones so I didn't really believe them that much, but I honestly didn't think I had got an A in any of the sciences after the exams so was pretty chuffed on results day:biggrin:

You?

Maths at Imperial, Warwick, UCL, LSE (with econ) and KCL. So pretty much identical to you, with the exception of Imperial instead of Cambridge.

All the best to you! I'll probably get 3 rejections from Imperial, UCL and LSE and then an impossible offer from Warwick. KCL I don't really want to go to lol

Yeah the offers are usually quite high for Warwick but I've also heard they have an algorithm that auto-offers places to applicants with a certain amount of GCSE A*s and high enough predicted grades. I can't confirm that obviously but a teacher at my school said this, since multiple people from my school before have been offered places on the same day UCAS was sent off.

I think if you apply in October time, around the Oxbridge/Med deadline, and you have good AS and strong predictions you're quite likely to be given an offer. Warwick are usually VERY good at responding quickly, although on the other side - I've seen people wait for months.
Hey

The exam board was CCEA since I'm from Northern Ireland. To revise I just made sure I understood all the concepts, made flash cards to remember definitions and important questions that have been asked before. I reviewed the content constantly throughout the year so I didn't forget any of it. I made sure to do all the past papers and go through every question and understand exactly why the answer is as it is. Also done this with the examiners report which helped too.

Good Luck!
I'll post again because my remarks are back
