How important are A-Levels in employment?

Hi!
I have just begun unversityi. I'm studying Biomedical Science and although my A-Level grades weren't amazing (I got BCC), my AS Level grades were decent and I did well at GCSE. How important are A levels when getting your first job? I was wondering if a really good degree and good work experience would compensate for lower A Level grades? Is it worth me resitting a few of my exams if I can in order to boost my grades a bit?
Any help/advice would be really appreciated!
Thank you.
Resitting is going to be pointless and stress and revision for not much gain. You're far better off spending that time gaining experience and skills that'll help with your future career.

Thank you everyone! I didn't really want to have to resit them, but I would have if it would have made a big difference. Thanks.
